Welcome to my personal blog documenting my experience with Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). This is a collection of posts chronicling my journey from diagnosis to recovery (I still am).

What is TSW?

Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) is a condition that can occur when someone stops using topical steroid creams after long-term use. It's characterized by severe skin symptoms that can be debilitating and often mistaken for worsening eczema.

My Story

I've had eczema since childhood and used topical steroids for over 30 years. In 2023, I experienced the most severe flare of my life, which led me to discover that what I was experiencing wasn't just eczema.
